Bieber Posts Vintage DMX Clip Amid Focus on Family and Music

Justin Bieber was recently back in the spotlight with his Instagram post about drugs, sobriety, and freedom, without uttering a single word. Last Sunday, the 31-year-old singer shared a video of the late rapper DMX’s reaction after being asked if he was ready to be a “clean man” on Instagram.

The viral reposted short video shared on Instagram shows a fascinating clip of Iyanla: Fix My Life from 2013, which has gained a lot of attention recently. In the video, the life coach Iyanla Vanzant asks DMX about his interest in living “as a clean man” without using any drugs.

“No weed, no drinking, nothing? Why would I?” he responded. In the video, Vanzant explained to the rapper that if he didn’t smoke, drink, or use hard drugs, he would be “becoming a clear, pure vessel for the voice of God.”

However, DMX, who was not known to be the most religious person back then, seemed to be at peace with God and said, “I think I’m exactly where I need to be with God.”

The multi-Grammy award-winning singer, Justin Bieber, didn’t include any comments or explanation in his Instagram bio as to why he shared the reposted Iyanla Vanzant video of the rapper.

The post was originally made by Gassy, a marijuana dispensary located in Los Angeles. The singer’s repost of the video post caused major concern in the eyes of his fans and followers, as some believed that he was insinuating his choice of being sober or sober-ish, while some said that the post was a pure coincidence and that he was only reposting something that he seemed to enjoy.

The rep added that he was in “one of the best places in his life,” as he was growing his family, working on music, and letting go of people and business ties that were no longer helping him in his new space as a husband, father, and a new artist.

It is also important to note that using marijuana for recreational purposes is completely legal in California, where the Biebers reside. Although the images of the singer alongside bongs and smoke may raise eyebrows, this does not mean that he was committing illegal activities. As the album is doing well, fans and music lovers are also questioning if the singer will be on tour. And the major hint of this was this recent Instagram post that was sparking even more questions about his sobriety.

According to rumors, he might be going on tour to Australia, but not with Bieber or Frontier Touring. However, when Rolling Stone got a scoop from the New York Times article, Frontier Touring, an Australian artist management and touring company, replied via email that it had “no information” about the 2024 tour schedule.

The email Frontier Touring sent to the outlet about the previous collaboration of Bieber was, “At this stage, there is no information we can share about any potential Australian tour,” he said.

Fans were at a standstill in terms of getting information about the tour, especially when Bieber had to cancel the rest of his Justice World Tour in 2022. Cancellations had to happen because of his health. But, with the recent release of his seventh album, many have been in awe of how well he’s doing and is gearing up for the 2024 World Tour if the rumors are accurate.
